We introduced Theater Anonymous to Seattle with It’s a Wonderful Life in 2011, and it has grown into a gala annual holiday event.

2014 Cast

The premise is simple.

Nobody knows the cast,

not even the cast.

Theater Anonymous: It's a Wonderful Life is an exciting, fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants evening of theater that celebrates Seattle’s amazing theater community.

Evan Whitfield & Keiko Green

Approximately 30 actors have been selected through an invitation process and each will rehearse one-on-one with the director, never meeting their fellow actors.

2016 Cast

Actors must take an oath of secrecy and are allowed to tell only one other person on earth that they are participating.

Brandon J. Simmons & Tim Hyland

Actors enter the theater in street clothes, sit with the audience until their first line, and deliver it from the audience before joining the rest of the cast onstage.

Zane Exactly & Eddie DeHais

“Every entrance was an event, and the standing ovation at the end of the show was entirely deserved.” - The Stranger

Alex Garnett, Andy Buffelen, Shermona Mitchell, Megan Ahiers, & Shawn Belyea
